Why use ezyPDF
Your files never reach a server
Every tool we offer today runs inside your browser. There is no upload request, so there is no file to store on a server.
No waiting for uploads
Because files are never sent over the network, large sizes don't make you wait. Speed depends on your device.
Nothing to install
Phone, tablet, or work laptop — if it has a browser, you have the same tools.
No account needed
We don't collect your email or create an account. Open the page and start using it.
Your work flows
Merge, then reorder, then add a watermark — each page points you to the tools that pair well next.
We don't hide the limits
When something can't be done reliably in the browser, we don't pretend it works — we explain why and suggest alternatives.
Just three steps
- 1
Choose your file
Pick a file on the tool page or drag it onto the dotted area. The file only opens inside your browser.
- 2
Set options and run
Adjust tool-specific settings like order, page range, or quality, then press run. Progress appears on screen.
- 3
Download the result
Save your file from the finish screen. If there are several results, grab them all as a ZIP.
What are online PDF tools?
Online PDF tools let you work with PDFs in a web browser without installing separate editing software. PDF is a format designed to look the same on any device, which is great for sharing and archiving but makes the content harder to change. Even a simple task like removing one page or merging two documents often needs dedicated software.
Installing paid software for these tasks is a burden, and on a work computer you may not even have permission to install anything. Browser-based tools fill that gap: you just open a page, use the feature you need, and close the tab when you're done.
When would you use them?
Bundling documents into one file
When an application form and its supporting files are separate PDFs, it's tedious for the recipient. Set the order and merge them into one to submit as-is.
Sharing only what's needed
Cut just the relevant chapter out of a 200-page report so you don't expose unnecessary information.
Tidying up scans
Fix documents a copier read upside down or with blank pages mixed in by rotating, deleting, and rearranging.
Meeting an email size limit
When an attachment is blocked by a few megabytes, the compress tool can adjust the size. How much it shrinks varies by document.
Turning photos into a document
Bundle photos of receipts or handwritten notes in order into a single PDF.
Marking a document before sharing
Add a watermark and page numbers to a draft or confidential file to make its purpose clear.
What 'processed in the browser' means
Many online converters upload your file to a server, process it there, and let you download the result. It's convenient, but it also means your document passes through another company's computer. Most say they delete it after a while, but you have no way to verify that yourself.
The tools ezyPDF provides use the computing power already built into your browser. Reading the file, rebuilding pages, and creating a new document all happen inside the tab you're looking at. Because there is no code that sends the file anywhere, the idea of a "retention period" simply doesn't apply.
This approach has clear limits, too. Typesetting a Word document into a PDF or recognizing characters in a scan is hard to do accurately in the browser. We don't pretend those work — each page notes the technology involved and why.
About file security
Processing in the browser removes the exposure risk during transfer, but that alone doesn't solve every security concern. If you worked on a shared computer, the downloaded result stays in that machine's Downloads folder. Get into the habit of clearing files and closing the browser when you're done.
Also, a watermark is only a mark that signals a document's purpose, not technical access control, and deleting a page only removes it from that document — not from copies elsewhere. Each tool page notes these limits, so please review them before use.
What you can do right now
Merging several PDFs into one, splitting by page range, reordering and deleting pages, rotating in 90-degree steps, two-way conversion between images and PDFs, inserting page numbers and watermarks, checking and editing document info, and inspecting file status — 19 tools are ready to use right now.
For features that need server processing or an outside contract — Office document conversion, character recognition (OCR), e-signatures, PDF password protection — each page publishes its current status and the technology required. We don't list features that do nothing when you click them.
