Organize PDF Pages — Rearrange While You Watch
A document with jumbled pages confuses the reader no matter how well it's written. This tool lays out every page as a thumbnail, so you can spot what's out of place and fix it by eye.
Drag a thumbnail and it moves to that spot. On the same screen you can rotate a single page 90 degrees or drop it from the list, finishing reordering and touch-ups in one go.
The preview is an image rendered from the document, but when you save, the original pages are carried over as-is. Preview quality and output quality are separate.
Limits of this tool
- Documents over a few hundred pages can take a long time to generate thumbnails.
How to use
- 1
Open the document
Upload a PDF and page thumbnails are generated in order. With many pages, generation can take a few seconds.
- 2
Drag to arrange
Move thumbnails to where you want them. Rotate and delete buttons on each card let you fine-tune at the same time.
- 3
Save
A new PDF is created in exactly the order shown on screen. The original file is left unchanged.
Key features
All pages at a glance
You grasp the structure without scrolling top to bottom. Missing or duplicate pages are easy to find.
Order, rotate, delete together
Three edits handled on one screen without switching tools, reducing how often you save.
Touch support
On tablets and phones, press and hold to drag and reorder. Card size adjusts automatically on narrow screens.
Reset
A button returns you to the starting state mid-edit, so you don't have to re-upload after a mistake.
When to use it
Fixing a reversed scan
Restore the original order of a document the auto-feeder read back to front.
Adjusting cover and appendix positions
Move the cover to the front and the appendix to the back to match a distribution format.
Reworking presentation material
Change slide order to make a different version for a different audience.
How are your files handled?
Thumbnail generation and page rearranging both happen in your browser. Preview images exist only on screen and are never saved or transmitted.
Selected files open only in your browser's memory, and results are handed straight to your device when you save. Close the tab and any remaining data is gone with it. See the Privacy Policy and File Retention Policy for details.
