Delete PDF Pages — Keep Only What You Need

A blank page pulled in during scanning, an outdated notice, or a single attachment page you shouldn't share is no reason to rebuild the whole document. Pick just the pages to delete and the rest stay as they are.

You can select by tapping thumbnails or by typing page numbers directly. Number input is handy when there are many pages; thumbnail selection is better when you need to see which page is which.

Your deletion set can keep changing until you run, and the number of remaining pages is shown on screen. Trying to delete every page is blocked outright.

Limits of this tool

  • This removes whole pages. It does not hide specific text or images within a page (redaction/de-identification).

How to use

  1. 1

    Upload the PDF

Selecting a file shows the page thumbnails and total page count.

  2. 2

    Choose pages to delete

Tap thumbnails to select, or type numbers like 3,7,10-12 in the input box. The two methods stay in sync.

  3. 3

    Delete and save

Confirm how many pages will remain, then run to create a new PDF without the chosen pages.

Key features

  • Two selection methods

Mix visual thumbnail selection and fast number input to suit the situation.

  • Live remaining-page count

Every time you select, it shows how many pages the result will have, reducing mistakes.

  • Delete-all prevention

Selecting every page disables the run button, so no empty PDF is created.

  • Invert selection

When fewer pages will stay, select the ones to keep and then invert the selection.

When to use it

  • Clearing scan blank pages

Remove blank pages from duplex scanning to cut the document's length.

  • Removing sensitive pages before sharing

Drop a price sheet or a page with personal contacts to make a distribution copy.

  • Removing ad and notice pages

Delete promotional pages stuck to the front or back of downloaded material to make it easier to read.

How are your files handled?

The result with pages removed is reassembled in your browser. That said, separately check that the deleted page content isn't copied elsewhere as part of managing your originals.

Selected files open only in your browser's memory, and results are handed straight to your device when you save. Close the tab and any remaining data is gone with it. See the Privacy Policy and File Retention Policy for details.

Delete Pages FAQ

Can I restore a deleted page?
The result is saved as a new file and the original stays intact, so you can re-upload the original and start over anytime.
Does deleting pages reduce file size?
If the images a page used aren't used by other pages, they're cleaned up too and size drops. Documents with many shared resources may not shrink as much as expected.
Can I delete only specific information within a page?
Not with this tool. De-identification that truly removes characters risks leaving the original text under a black box if done wrong, so we don't offer it until a verified method is ready.
