Edit PDF Content — Currently in the Works

Fixing characters in a PDF is different from typing in Word. The characters in a document are fragments placed by coordinates, not paragraphs, so changing one word collapses line breaks and alignment together. When the original font is only partially embedded, you sometimes can't insert new characters at all.

ezyPDF offers overlay editing (watermarks, page numbers) and page-level editing (order, rotation, deletion) first. We plan to add body-text editing once we have a reliable method.

Even that is handled cleanly only if the original font is embedded in the document. Inserting characters not embedded makes the typeface look different.
